幕末から昭和前期まで三代続いた彫金師府川一則（ふかわかずのり）家に伝来した資料群。
初代一則（1824～1876）は、十返舎一九の弟子であった戯作者五返舎半九の子で、葛飾北斎に入門、北嶺（北岑とも）と号して、絵師として活動した。北斎の死後は、後藤門流の東益常門に入り装剣金工の道に転じた。明治維新の際、東征大総督有栖川宮熾仁親王の佩刀の拵を調進したことから、熾仁親王より「柳蛙子」の号を授けられ有栖川宮家御用となった。
初代の没後は、二人の息子が後を継いだ。二代一則（慶三郎　1855～1919）は、初代の長男で、片切彫を得意とし日本美術院正教員を務めた。三代一則は（俊五郎　1870～1934）は、初代の四男で、兄に師事し彫金界で活躍した。
本資料群は、三代一則の遺族から寄贈された注文帳や彫金道具などを中心に、二代一則の子孫や、二代の門弟でその金工を継承した府川一信（宮坂開示 1891～1979）が受け継いだ初代一則や二代の作品・書画類を含む。転換期の日本金工史を知る上で重要資料の一つといえる。

A material group which was handed down to the Fukawa Kazunori family, metalsmiths, continued for three generations from the end of the Edo period to the early Shōwa era.
Kazunori Ⅰ (1824–1876) was a son of Gohensha Hanku, a fiction writer who was a disciple of Juppensha Ikku. He became a disciple of Katsushika Hokusai and called himself Hokurei (Hokushin as well) to act as an eshi artist. After the passing of Hokusai, he became a disciple of Higashi Masutsune, a branch of the Gotō school, to change his career as a sword fitting artisan. At the Meiji Restoration, by supplying sword mountings of a sword for Tōsei Daisōtoku, Prince Arisugawanomiya Taruhito, he was conferred the name “Ryū Keishi” by Prince Taruhito, and he became a purveyor to the Arisugawanomiya family.
After the passing of the first generation, his two sons succeeded him. Kazunori Ⅱ (Keizaburō, 1855–1919) was the eldest son of the first generation, who was good at katakiribori chisel work, and served as a certified teacher at the Japan Art Institute. Kazunori Ⅲ (Shungorō, 1870–1934) was the fourth son of the first generation, who was apprenticed to his elder brother and found success in the metal engraving industry.
This material group includes focusing on order books and metal engraving tools donated by Kazunori Ⅲ’s bereaved family, as well as works, calligraphy, and paintings by Kazunori Ⅰ and Ⅱ that were handed down by Kazunori Ⅱ’s descendants and Fukawa Kazunobu (Miyasaka Kaiji, 1891–1979), a disciple of Kazunori Ⅱ who inherited his metalworking techniques. It can be considered one of important materials for learning the history of Japanese metalworking at a turning point.
