大正13年に復興局により区画整理について一般の意見を聞く趣旨で「町界町名地番整理案」の懸賞募集が行われた。123件の応募があり、大正14年3月に1等1名、2等3名、3等10名が選出された。復興局から1等に金500円、2等に300円、3等に100円、東京市から副賞として1等に500円、2等に200円の賞金が与えられた。
